Anna Gunn
Anna Gunn is an American actress from America. Her most well-known role was Skyler in the AMC's Breaking Bad drama, and won Primetime Emmy Award Outstanding Supporting Female Actress for Drama Series 2013 and 2014. She also played Martha Bullock in Deadwood and Jean Ward on The Practice. Anna Gunn, born 1968 in Sante Fe New Mexico fell in Love with Acting in preparation for her first performance before moving to Ohio. Anna attended the British American Drama Academy and took classes in theatre at Northwestern University. Anna began her career with Chicago-area theaters for a couple of years. She then moved on to TV and film. Anna had her first big part as Arden when Down the Shore aired 29 episodes from 1992. She continued to appear as an actor in handful of TV series and movies, including Seinfeld and NYPD Blue up to the end of 90's when she was cast in a role that she reprised in the role of Jean Ward in The Practice. She was cast as Martha Bullock in Deadwood for two seasons throughout the decade of 2000. Skyler is the character she played in her Breaking Bad role from 2008. She also starred in the Deadwood film and Sully. Gunn played in David Schwimmer's Sex With Strangers, a production produced by David Schwimmer. In 2022, Gunn was a part of a four-part audio-play podcast titled"Numbered Days. The relationship with Walter White and his wife Skyler is often the backbone of the story on Breaking Bad with the strained connection between them and eventually its demise echoing the same storyline of Walter White's final days of his life.
